Mega Millions Draw on 2026-09-22 Features Number 68 Repeating, Shift to More Odd Numbers
The latest certified draw reveals stable zone distribution and spacing with notable numerical patterns compared to the prior draw.
The certified Mega Millions drawing on September 22, 2026, produced 7, 13, 26, 37, and 68, with Mega Ball 8. Compared with the immediately preceding certified drawing on September 18 — 4, 9, 24, 56, and 68, with Mega Ball 1 — the latest drawing showed an interesting combination of continuity and change.
The clearest piece of continuity was 68, the only main number to repeat from the September 18 drawing. It remained in the upper portion of the main-number field while the other four positions changed.
But 68 was not the only thing that remained consistent. The overall distribution across the number field stayed exactly the same between the two drawings.
September 22 produced two lower-range numbers — 7 and 13 — one middle-range number, 26, and two upper-range numbers, 37 and 68. September 18 also produced two lower-range, one middle-range, and two upper-range numbers.
So while four of the five main numbers changed, the broader 2-low / 1-middle / 2-high structure remained intact.
Inside that stable structure, however, the odd/even balance changed considerably. September 22 produced three odd and two even main numbers, compared with one odd and four even on September 18.
There were also two close relationships between the consecutive drawings. 7 landed two numbers away from the previous 9, while 26 landed two numbers away from the previous 24. These were proximity relationships rather than direct repeats, showing another form of numerical continuity between the two completed drawings.
The spacing changed as well. September 22 produced gaps of 6, 13, 11, and 31, compared with 5, 15, 32, and 12 on September 18. The numbers therefore occupied the same overall low-middle-high distribution while arranging themselves differently inside those ranges.
The Mega Ball also changed from 1 to 8, although both remained within the lower Mega Ball range.
Taken together, the strongest feature of the September 22 drawing was the contrast between structural continuity and internal change. The same 2-low / 1-middle / 2-high distribution remained in place, and 68 repeated directly, while the parity balance, spacing, and most of the individual numbers changed from the previous certified drawing.
