Mega Millions October 6 Drawing Shifts Toward Middle-Range and Even Numbers
The certified Mega Millions drawing on October 6, 2026, produced 26, 32, 42, 51, and 54, with Mega Ball 22. The immediately preceding certified drawing on October 2 produced 6, 37, 40, 41, and 55, with Mega Ball 10. There were no direct repeats among the main numbers or the Mega Ball between the two drawings. Pasted text
One of the clearest changes appeared in the odd-and-even composition. October 2 contained three odd and two even main numbers, while October 6 shifted to one odd and four even numbers. Only 51 was odd in the latest drawing, while 26, 32, 42, and 54 were even. Pasted text
The distribution across the number field changed as well.
October 2 contained one lower-range number, no middle-range numbers, and four upper-range numbers. October 6 shifted to no lower-range numbers, two middle-range numbers, and three upper-range numbers.
That moved the distribution from 1 low / 0 middle / 4 high to 0 low / 2 middle / 3 high. The lower range disappeared from the latest drawing, while 26 and 32 brought the middle range back into the result. The upper range remained prominent with 42, 51, and 54, but its representation declined from four numbers to three. Pasted text
The internal spacing also changed. October 6 produced gaps of 6, 10, 9, and 3, compared with 31, 3, 1, and 14 on October 2. The latest drawing therefore did not contain the previous drawing’s large 31-number opening gap and instead showed more moderate spacing across the five main numbers. Pasted text
Although none of the main numbers repeated, several landed close to numbers from the previous drawing. 42 was one number away from the previous 41 and two away from 40, while 54 landed directly beside the previous 55. These were proximity relationships rather than exact repeats. Pasted text
Taken together, the October 6 drawing showed several clear changes from October 2: parity moved strongly toward even numbers, two middle-range numbers entered a field that previously contained none, the upper-range concentration decreased, the spacing became more moderate, and several numbers appeared close to prior-draw values without repeating them. These observations describe two completed certified drawings and do not establish a longer-term Mega Millions trend. Pasted text
