After-the-Draw Update

After-the-Draw Update: Mega Millions – November 3, 2026

Analysis of the number-ball behavior and comparison with the previous certified draw on October 30, 2026.

The latest drawing featured four even main numbers, no direct repeats, and two nearby-number relationships with the preceding result.

The November 3, 2026, Mega Millions drawing produced the main numbers 4, 24, 31, 62, and 70, with Mega Ball 3.

The previous drawing, held October 30, produced 5, 10, 38, 49, and 68, with Mega Ball 17.

Although none of the main numbers repeated, two numbers in the November 3 result appeared close in value to numbers from the previous drawing.

The odd-and-even balance also shifted further toward even numbers, while the distribution across the number field changed slightly.

Four Even Numbers Lead the Drawing

One of the clearest characteristics of the November 3 result was its odd-and-even composition.

Four of the five main numbers were even: 4, 24, 62, and 70.

Only 31 was odd.

The previous drawing contained three even numbers and two odd numbers.

Drawing Odd Even
October 30 2 3
November 3 1 4

Both drawings had more even numbers than odd numbers, but November 3 showed a greater concentration.

This demonstrates how the odd-and-even makeup of completed drawings can change without establishing what will happen in the next result.

The Middle Range Gains a Number

The distribution across NUM8ER LABS’ current Mega Millions research zones also changed.

Number range October 30 November 3
Lower (1–23) 2 1
Middle (24–46) 1 2
Upper (47–70) 2 2

On November 3, 4 appeared in the lower range.

The numbers 24 and 31 appeared in the middle range.

The upper-range numbers were 62 and 70.

The previous drawing contained two lower-range numbers, one middle-range number, and two upper-range numbers.

The change was relatively small: one fewer lower-range number and one additional middle-range number. The upper-range count remained unchanged.

This comparison helps explain the distribution of the completed results without suggesting that any number range has become more likely to appear.

No Repeats, but Two Nearby Connections

None of the five main numbers from October 30 returned on November 3.

However, NUM8ER LABS Research identified two nearby-number relationships between the drawings.

The November 3 number 4 appeared one below the October 30 number 5.

And the November 3 number 70 appeared two above the previous drawing’s 68.

NUM8ER LABS examines these relationships as part of its study of numerical proximity between completed drawings.

They are sometimes referred to as shadow relationships.

Unlike a direct repeat, a shadow relationship involves different numbers that are close in numerical value.

In this comparison, the distances were one and two.

These are observable numerical relationships, not evidence that one drawing influenced another.

How Did the Spacing Change?

The five November 3 main numbers were distributed across much of the number field.

Reading them in order:

4 → 24 → 31 → 62 → 70

The gaps were 20, 7, 31, and 8.

The largest separation occurred between 31 and 62.

The October 30 drawing had gaps of 5, 28, 11, and 19.

Its numbers extended from 5 to 68, producing an overall span of 63.

The November 3 numbers extended from 4 to 70, producing a slightly wider span of 66.

Although the latest drawing covered a wider overall range, its individual gaps were not uniformly larger.

This illustrates how number sets can differ in their spacing arrangements, even when they occupy similar portions of the number field.

The Mega Ball Moves From High to Low

The Mega Ball also changed significantly between the drawings.

On October 30, the Mega Ball was 17, placing it in the higher Mega Ball zone used in this Research.

On November 3, the Mega Ball was 3, placing it in the lower zone.

Because the Mega Ball comes from a separate number pool, NUM8ER LABS examines its historical distribution independently of the five main numbers.

This shift describes the two completed results and does not indicate where the next Mega Ball will appear.

What Can We Learn From November 3?

The November 3 Mega Millions drawing demonstrated several differences from the preceding result.

Four of the five main numbers were even, compared with three previously.

The middle range gained one number while the lower range lost one.

None of the main numbers repeated, although 4 and 70 appeared close in value to numbers from October 30.

The overall number span widened slightly, and the Mega Ball moved from the higher zone to the lower zone.

Together, these observations illustrate how consecutive Mega Millions drawings can differ in number composition, distribution, spacing, and numerical proximity.

NUM8ER LABS studies these completed drawing results to help lottery players better understand historical number behavior and make more informed choices about the numbers they play.

These findings do not change the mathematical odds of winning or establish what will occur in future drawings.
