Powerball Draw on 2026-09-21 Shows Notable Shift in Number Distribution Compared to Previous Draw
The latest Powerball drawing featured a predominance of lower-range numbers and increased odd number presence, contrasting with the prior draw's upper-range concentration and even number majority.
The certified Powerball drawing on September 21, 2026, produced 2, 7, 9, 17, and 58, with Powerball 20. Compared with the immediately preceding certified drawing on September 19 — 18, 30, 41, 45, and 68, with Powerball 10 — the latest drawing showed a noticeable shift in where the numbers landed across the field.
None of the five main numbers repeated from the September 19 drawing, and the Powerball did not repeat either. But even without a direct repeat, one close relationship remained: 17 landed directly beside 18, which appeared in the previous certified drawing.
The strongest change came in the number ranges. September 21 produced three lower-range numbers — 2, 7, and 9 — one middle-range number, 17, and one upper-range number, 58. September 19 had no lower-range numbers, two in the middle range, and three in the upper range.
That represents a clear reversal between the two drawings. September 19 leaned heavily toward the upper portion of the field. September 21 shifted heavily toward the lower portion.
The odd/even balance changed as well, although only slightly. September 21 produced three odd and two even main numbers, compared with two odd and three even on September 19.
The spacing tells another part of the story. The September 21 numbers produced gaps of 5, 2, 8, and 41. Four of the five numbers were concentrated between 2 and 17 before the drawing made a large jump to 58. By comparison, September 19 produced gaps of 12, 11, 4, and 23, creating a different structure across the field.
And while the main-number distribution moved sharply downward, the Powerball moved in the opposite direction. Powerball 10 was in the middle bonus zone on September 19, while Powerball 20 moved into the high bonus zone on September 21.
Taken together, that contrast is what stands out most in the latest drawing: the main numbers moved from an upper-range concentration to a lower-range concentration, while the Powerball moved upward. At the same time, the parity balance shifted, the spacing structure changed, and a one-number proximity relationship remained between consecutive drawings.
