Powerball Drawing Analysis: September 28, 2026 Reveals Shift in Number Patterns from Prior Draw
The Powerball drawing on 2026-09-28 exhibited distinct number behaviors compared to the previous certified drawing two days earlier, highlighting changes in number repetition, parity, and distribution across number ranges.
The certified Powerball drawing on September 28, 2026, produced 17, 21, 29, 42, and 49, with Powerball 7. Compared with the immediately preceding certified drawing on September 26 — 14, 40, 52, 55, and 57, with Powerball 24 — the latest drawing showed complete turnover in both the main numbers and the Powerball. One of the clearest changes appeared in the odd/even balance. September 28 produced four odd and one even main number, compared with two odd and three even on September 26.
The distribution across the number field also changed considerably. September 28 contained no lower-range numbers, three middle-range numbers — 17, 21, and 29 — and two upper-range numbers — 42 and 49.
The previous drawing showed almost the opposite concentration, with one lower-range number — 14 — no middle-range numbers, and four upper-range numbers — 40, 52, 55, and 57. The distribution therefore moved from 1 low / 0 middle / 4 high to 0 low / 3 middle / 2 high, shifting much of the latest drawing’s activity back toward the middle of the field. Pasted text
The spacing between the main numbers changed as well. September 28 produced gaps of 4, 8, 13, and 7, creating a more moderately distributed sequence. September 26 had gaps of 26, 12, 3, and 2, beginning with a much wider separation before tightening considerably among the later numbers. Pasted text
One additional relationship appeared across the consecutive drawings. The latest 42 landed two numbers away from the previous 40, creating a close numerical relationship even though no number repeated directly. Pasted text
Taken together, the September 28 drawing looked substantially different from September 26. The high-range concentration weakened, three numbers returned to the middle range, the balance shifted strongly toward odd numbers, and the spacing became more evenly distributed — all without a direct repeat from the previous drawing.
